Movements Announce New Album ‘Ruckus!’

Movements have announced their new album ‘Ruckus!’ and shared its lead single, ‘Fail You’.

Set for release on August 18, the album was produced by Grammy-nominated producer Will Yip and will arrive via Fearless Records.

‘Ruckus!’ was the product of several months of creative work for the California post-hardcore band.

Explaining the new track, vocalist Patrick Miranda has described the new tune as having “all the inner workings of a classic Movements track wrapped up in a shiny new package and served with a newer, more modern Movements sound.”

The frontman added: “It’s a song about the fear of letting someone down and losing someone you love — reliving the mistakes over and over again and being haunted by all of your wrongdoings. Fans of both the new and old sounds will find something to love with this one.”

The forthcoming album sees the band incorporating a variety of influences, including the likes of Gorillaz and Strokes, to challenge people’s preconceptions.

The new track follows the release of singles ‘Killing Time’ and ‘Lead Pipe’ last month.
