Sophie Lloyd is gearing up to release her debut album, and the first taste is a rip-roaring display of hard rock brilliance.

Sophie Lloyd has been covering her favourite bands for the last few years, honing her craft and touring with Machine Gun Kelly.
But now it is time to focus on herself and her own music.
Her debut album ‘Imposter Syndrome’ is going to be released next year, and will be a special release featuring loads of lovely guests.
Sophie had this to say about it:
“I can finally say that I have new music coming! All my music before was instrumental, so this is a very special release for me as it includes vocals, and some of the people we’ve worked with are people I used to have as posters on my wall as a kid, so it feels very full circle. It’s something that I have been working on before the first lockdown, and to be here talking about it feels amazing.”
And she has shared the first taste of it right now.
That taste is ‘Do or Die’, which features Inglorious frontman, Nathan James. It’s a rip-roaring piece of old school hard rock shredding, perfectly executed alongside Nathan’s soulful tones. it’s a head-banger, and only the tip of the iceberg of what is to come.
Sophie had this to say about the collaboration:
“I am so happy to be sharing my first single from the album with Nathan James. I have been following his music for many years and he just has the most incredible voice and did such an amazing job on bringing this track to life. I’m so grateful he was able to take part! I remember getting the rough vocals back from Nathan while I was away in LA, and we were just blasting it out of the car on the freeway. That’s when I knew this would be the first single to be released from my album.”
And Nathan added this:
“It was great working with Sophie on this track. I was sent the track without lyrics or melody and I wanted to write something that made sense, as if Sophie were saying it herself. The album title Imposter Syndrome helped steer me in the direction I took it lyrically. I think it’s a fun song and I really hope we get to do it live someday soon.”
And Sophie had this to say about the video:
“Working with Lula was amazing, she is such a talented performer, and takes her craft so seriously and is so dedicated. We’ve become such great friends and I’m so excited to see what she’s doing next.”
Let’s goooo:
