The awards show takes place next month
MTV have revealed the nominations for the 2022 Video Music Awards, set to take place on August 28th.
Up for Best Rock video are Foo Fighters, Jack White, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Shinedown and Three Days Grace. Foo Fighters are also nominated in the Best Longform Video category for their horror movie project ‘Studio 666’.
Meanwhile, in the Best Alternative category, Avril Lavigne and Imagine Dragons will compete against Måneskin, Panic! At The Disco, Willow, Machine Gun Kelly and Twenty One Pilots.
TOP have also been nominated for Best Metaverse Performance for their Roblox virtual show. Måneskin meanwhile are nominated alongside the likes of Gayle in the Best New Artist category.
