14 Times Brendon Urie Popped Up In Other People’s Music Videos

Brendon Urie: a man who loves a cameo.

The man himself. Brendon Urie.

Sure, you can most frequently find him in Panic! At The Disco music videos, but he has a bit of a habit of popping up in other artists’ videos too. So many that we unearthed 14 examples.

01. ‘OPEN HAPPINESS’ – CEELO GREEN, BRENDON URIE, PATRICK STUMP, TRAVIE MCCOY AND JANELLE MONAE
This bad boy turns 10 years old this year! ‘Open Happiness’ was written and recorded as part of a marketing campaign for Coca Cola back in 2009, and features a very nerdy-looking Brendon posing as a local news presenter. Oh, the memories!

02. ‘MOLLY’ – LIL DICKY
Sure, Brendon has a vocal feature in this one too- but it’s in the video that he truly shines. In the final chorus, catch Brendon playing the role of Wedding Singer at the reception.

03. ‘HEADFIRST SLIDE INTO COOPERSTOWN ON A BAD BET’ – FALL OUT BOY
Whether you know this as the above title, or as A Weekend At Pete Rose’s, the key take away here is that Brendon Urie is the main protagonist in this playful romp, alongside Panic! At The Disco’s Spencer Smith. And a deceased Pete Wentz.

04. ‘CLOTHES OFF!’ – GYM CLASS HEROES
There’s a lot to unpack about this video, not least of all Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz dressed as Elvis Presley. But in this one, Brendon Urie makes an appearance at the end alongside his former Panic! bandmates, dressed as a furry.

05. ‘UMA THURMAN’ – FALL OUT BOY
Have you ever dreamed of going paint-balling with Brendon Urie and Pete Wentz? The video for ‘Uma Thurman’ is basically exactly that.

06. ‘PRETTY MELODY’ – BUTCH WALKER
Blink and miss him in this one, but Brendon features alongside Spencer Smith and Zack Hall in the characters of ‘ninjas/ thieves’ (?). The three make off with the television set. Keep your eyes peeled.

07. ‘BOYS’ – CHARLI XCX
Brendon flies the flag for boys from our scene in this pop banger, alongside ONE OK ROCK's Taka Moriuchi and Bring Me The Horizon's Oli Sykes. It continues to be a relatable mood- we were busy thinking about boys.

08. ‘WHAT A CATCH, DONNIE’ – FALL OUT BOY
Brendon isn’t alone in his cameo in this tragic, tear-inducing ballad. He sits comfortably in a little life-raft having survived the ship wreck alongside Spencer Smith and a handful of other members of the scene.

09. ‘KEEP ON KEEPING ON’ – TRAVIE MCCOY
There’s something about this video that really makes you want to keep on keeping on, even with the feeling that you’re gonna keep losin’. You gotta come back strong.

10. ‘A LITTLE LESS SIXTEEN CANDLES, A LITTLE MORE TOUCH ME’ – FALL OUT BOY
Brendon as a vampire? Alongside The Academy Is…' William Beckett and Cobra Starship’s Gabe Saporta? What a time capsule.

Also not for nothing, but we’re still waiting for the promised sequal to this bad boy.

11. ‘WEST END KIDS’ – NEW POLITICS
Brendon is the ‘game master’ in this action-packed video. You see him appear in pieces during the video, but he’s fully revealed right at the end. See, he’s always been a gamer!

12. ‘IT REMEMBERS’ – EVERY TIME I DIE
This one is the stuff of nightmares- Brendon is the character wrapped in cloth, but at the very end his identity is properly revealed.

13. ‘ONE OF THOSE NIGHTS’ – THE CAB
This is like a time capsule, direct from the year 2009. Remember when bands just hung out and made videos together? That’s what this is. And Brendon is in there.

14. ‘YOUNG & MENACE TEASER’ – FALL OUT BOY
Back in a fur suit, Brendon is one of Fall Out Boy’s llamas (and we’re choosing to believe that he’s always in the llama suit).
