The opener of the album. We dive straight in with a fast pace, some of our most iconic riffs, a huge chorus, and a breakdown that blends evil, crushing rhythms with lush ambiance.

Lyrically, it tells the story of the fallen angel, the devil, and those daring to follow him into his world.

Sleeping With Ghosts

A dying human experiences their final moments, fighting the demons of death until slowly giving in. With a seamless shift in key and tempo, the song picks up with a groovy, heavy, gritty energy before crashing into a powerful breakdown. Then, the voice of an angel appears, guiding the way into the aether.

Beyond Heaven’s Gate

By now, the listener suddenly finds themselves in heaven.

An eerie melody leads the way as we groove with an almost indie rock feel, evoking glimpses of an unseen world. This is one of the most beautiful and catchy songs we have ever written, yet it still holds some heavy moments.

Sacrifice Me

The first single of the ‘Angel’ era. It begins in classic Unprocessed style with Manuel’s angelic tapped harmonics, then unfolds into a groove monster, diving straight into the oceans of our hearts.

‘Sacrifice Me’ can be interpreted as an anthem for those drawn to toxic, dependent relationships. You know you are not being treated right, yet you give in, almost asking for it. A paradox, but one that resonates deeply.

Snowlover

Addiction is not limited to people, it can be substances too. Instead of searching for warmth in love, this song dives into the world of drugs, almost praising the high they bring. But beneath the shiny atmosphere and djenty riffs lies a layer of unease.

The bass truly shines here, and the hook feels like a love song, but is it really?

Terrestrial

Probably the heaviest Unprocessed song to date. Originally intended as a Paleface feature, you can still hear that influence all over the track.

Crushing riffs lead into some of our heaviest breakdowns, while David’s vocals take centre stage in the middle. Lyrically, it is pure desperation, the struggle of terrestrial life and the obstacles every one of us faces.

Your Dress

Groovy basslines and eerie vocals melt into a gothic, industrial, pop metal blend. We return to the theme of love, diving deep into it. The song feels like opening a secret box filled with hidden jewels.

Where I Left My Soul

An emotional hymn to homesickness, inspired by the hardships of touring, dealing with health struggles, and being away from loved ones.

Reminiscent of a more classic rock sound, the song doesn’t go by without a progressive breakdown, rich atmosphere and creative instrumentation.

Solara (feat. Zelli from Paleface Swiss)

Our collaboration with Zelli from Paleface Swiss is another salute to toxic relationships. ‘Solara’ embodies a consuming persona that pulls you into their world before you even notice.

It is a straightforward metalcore track with a massive hook, blistering double time vocals from Zelli, and gritty guitar and bass tones.

Perfume

It’s in the perfume I guess…

Life does not always go the way we want. We get hurt, disappointed, trapped in our own scent.

This is a true ballad, built on simple yet emotional guitar themes and intimate vocals. It slowly rises into a full band explosion while keeping its slower six eight pulse, almost like a dark waltz.

Head in the Clouds (feat. Jason Aalon Butler from Fever 333)

Jason completely blew us away with his contribution. Manu’s iconic main riff nods back to ‘Hell’ with its chugging, evil tones drenched in reverb, but Jason opened an entirely new universe for us.

His rap like flows and one of the strongest choruses we have ever had push the song into near nu metal territory. Lyrically, it captures the pressure of today’s world, forced to shine and to keep the show going, no matter how you feel inside.

Dark, Silent and Complete

The album closes with a trilogy within a single song. After all the suffering explored throughout the record, this is the end of terrestrial life, told through a nihilistic lens.

It begins in pure devastation, then shifts into peace and healing with cello and deep grooves in the second part, before finally becoming whole in the last. A majestic ending to this chapter of Unprocessed.
