Acres are back with another new track, and it’s yet another emotional rollercoaster.
It’s titled ‘Hold On’ and finds the band at their most powerful and poignant.
Against a wave of ethereal noise, they paint a picture of watching someone’s world burn and being unable to do anything about it.
It’s as heartfelt as it is heartbreaking.
Vocalist Ben Lumber explains what it means to him:
“‘Hold On’ is a very personal song to me, it’s about watching someone you love destroy everything around them and being able to do nothing about it.”
