As December Falls have given us another taste of their forthcoming album ‘Everything’s On Fire But I’m Fine’ in the form of vengeful anthem ‘For the Plot’.
With the album set for release on August 08 via the band’s own release arm, ADF Records via Virgin Records, ‘For The Plot’ is an instant live show staple.
Speaking on the song’s inspiration, Bethany Hunter has shared:
“I’m sure everyone has a chaotic best friend but mine wins as the most chaotic… We were on the Join The Club tour at the end of 2023 and I received a voice-note from her, saying that she’d found out her boyfriend had cheated on her so, for the plot, she slept with his best mate and blocked her ex on everything. He then proceeded to email her over 100 times and she yelled on the voice note “who sends a fucking email!?” When we got back from tour, I wrote the song for her as an uplifting “fuck your ex” anthem!”
