Bad Omens appear to be further teasing their new era with a cryptic and creepy new teaser video.

Having previously wiped most of their social media accounts, the band took to Instagram last night (August 05) to post a short video that sees a young child in a ghost costume in discussion with a therapist played by actor Ryan Hurst who has previously appeared in ‘The Walking Dead’ and ‘Sons Of Anarchy’.

We won’t ruin the twist but things don’t quite appear to be all that they seem. Take a look below:

The band’s most recent release was their ‘Concrete Jungle (The OST)’ collection last year, featuring collaborations with the likes of Wargasm, Health and ERRA. Their track with Poppy, ‘V.A.N.’, was given the Rock Sound Award for Song Of The Year, with frontman Noah Sebastian saying “Pretty early on, I did the reference vocal for some of the parts myself and I wanted to make a song where it felt like the voice, the vocalist of the song, was AI, or inhuman to some degree. It was kind of influenced by that game ‘Portal’ and the voice GLaDOS. I had that hook, violence against nature, I had that as a lyric and it turned into a melody. It’s a lot to break down, but basically, when I had the delivery and the cadence in my head, it seemed like Poppy was just the obvious choice.

This of course followed on from the huge success of their 2022 LP ‘The Death Of Peace Of Mind’ which has since been certified Gold in the US.

Bad Omens currently have only two tour dates in the calendar for 2025 at Louder Than Life festival in Kentucky on September 20 and California’s Aftershock event on October 04.
