Black Veil Brides have kick-started what is set to be a massive year with an even bigger new track.

It’s called ‘Certainty’ and finds them ripping and tearing on the heavier side of their sound. Brooding, bludgeoning and brimming with throat-shredding brutality, bolstered by an astonishing performance from Andy Biersack, it feels like a huge step for the band. Dipping their toes into fresh waters whilst still keeping the same attitude and intensity that has carried them throughout their career, it’s a sign of extraordinary things to come.
And considering that it was the last song written for the band’s upcoming album, it sets the standard very high for what preceded it.
Andy had this to say about the song, explaining, “The concept of ‘Certainty’ is central to this record and appears throughout the album. The song was inspired by the film Conclave, particularly its reflections on religious certainty and how rigid belief systems can become prisons of our own making. When certainty hardens, curiosity, growth, and the willingness to change become impossible. Much of today’s political and social discourse exists inside these echo chambers of absolute belief, and that tension drives the narrative of this record.”
It picks up where ‘Hallelujah’ left off in the Summer of last year, which is another example of just how heavy the band are looking to be with this modern era. Until we get more information about what is coming next, get obsessed with this.
