The inaugural Best Alternative Award was given out at the MOBOs, and Bob Vylan was the big winner.
Last night at the MOBOs, the Best Alternative Award was given out for the very first time.
Following on from an open letter sent my Nova Twins, the awards listened and put together a category for the incredible artists representing black culture in the rock and alternative worlds.
The nominees were Nova Twins, Bob Vylan, Loathe, Kid Bookie, Skunk Anansie and Big Joanie.
And Bob Vylan took it home!
They have had an extraordinary year, with the release of their debut album ‘Bob Vylan Presents The Price Of Life’.
