Bowling For Soup Team Up With able machines for Cover Of Elastica’s ‘Connection’

Bowling For Soup have joined forces with LA electro-poppers able machines for a take on a 90’s classic.

That song is Elastica’s ‘Connection’, a 1995 banger that was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic. And in working together on the track, both bands bring the spirit of the original whilst adding in their own fun and flair.

Connected by the fact that longtime BFS producer Linus of Hollywood plays in able machines and that both sides share a longstanding love for the song, it makes for a perfect collaboration. The result is chaotic in the most wonderful ways. As danceable as it is dense, it’s a moment for both bands to truly let their hair down and kick off the year with something that makes you feel good.

BFS vocalist Jaret Reddick had this to say about how it came together, stating, “I have always loved this song! We use to play it in the Van non stop! One day I was listening to a new able machines song and just thought…My best friend, Bowling For Soup’s producer, Linus of Hollywood, is in an Electronic band! We should do this “Connection” together! Even the song title is perfect for this collab!  Luckily, Linus and Tay liked the idea, and ran with it! I am so stoked for how this turned out…The video is next level!
