Busted & Neck Deep Team Up For New Version Of ‘Meet You There’

Busted have been joined by Neck Deep frontman Ben Barlow on a reworked, rocked-up version of their song ‘Meet You There’.

The track was originally featured on their 2003 album ‘A Present For Everyone’ which has been certified triple platinum in the UK.

On working with Busted, Ben Barlow said “We’re stoked to feature on Meet You There! It’s kind of a full circle moment for myself and Seb especially. When we were like 8 and 10 years old my big sister took us to see Busted in Manchester arena, and that was the first show we ever went to. Fast forward 20 years and I’m featuring on my favourite song of theirs! Wild. The re-work of the song is really cool too, and we had a blast making it. Busted have been really cool the whole way and I’m stoked to re-live the experience that 8 year old me had back then!”

Charlie Simpson added “This is one of the tracks we are most excited about releasing, as we have recorded an entirely new arrangement of the song. The original was an acoustic ballad and this new version is a balls out, rock explosion! We are also so happy to have done this with Neck Deep. Ben sounds awesome on it and what is extra special is he told me this was one of his fave Busted songs when he was growing up.

This track follows ‘Loser Kid 2.0’, another reworked track that featured Simple Plan.

Busted are set to head out on a huge UK arena tour this September and October.
