Deaf Havana Drop Reflective Single ‘Car Crash’

Deaf Havana have shared reflective single ‘Car Crash’, taken from upcoming album ‘We’re Never Getting Out’.

With the band’s latest full-length set to be released on October 03 via So Recordings, it follows previous singles 'Lawn Tennis’ and 'Hurts To Be Lonely’.

Speaking on ‘Car Crash’, James Veck-Gilodi haas shared:

“’Car Crash’ is really a pretty sad song for me… surprise, surprise. I wrote it whilst I was still in my previous relationship, but I knew it was coming to an end and I was full of very conflicting feelings and emotions. I didn’t really know how to navigate them without causing harm. It’s about that feeling when you know the magic has gone or maybe admit to yourself that it was never really there in the first place. I hope this song connects with people who are in the same situation and maybe helps them to know that there is a way through it and sometimes it really does work out for the best, however hard it may be.”

Talking more about Deaf Havana’s next era, James has said:

“I used to dread going on stage and on tour. I used to dread releasing albums and talking about them because I didn’t know what I was doing. Now, I’ve never been clearer about what this all is. I know I can back myself enough to know I will put everything I have into this.  And I am so proud of these songs because we worked so hard on them. This is the best Deaf Havana album and the best thing I have ever been a part of writing. I feel like this is a true fresh start.”
