Green Day Are Reissuing Their Classic Album ‘Nimrod’

25 years of ‘Nimrod’ is a reason to celebrate, and Green Day are doing so with a whole load of unreleased goodies.

Green Day’s ‘Nimrod’ is 25 years young today (October 14).

A stellar display of scrappy punk-rock delivered with sneer and sensationalism by some of the best to ever do it, it is about as classic as it gets in a discography full of them.

And to celebrate such an occasion, the band are reissuing the record.

Dropping on January 27 next year, the collection comes with the original album plus 14 previously unreleased demos and a full live recording of the band playing at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia in 1997.
