Illenium Hits No.1 On US Dance Chart

Illenium has reached No.1 on the US Dance chart with his latest self-titled album.

‘Illenium’ hit the spot on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart, earning the equivalent of 17000 album units. This is the DJ and producer’s third album to go to No.1 on the chart, following 2019’s ‘Ascend’ and 2021’s ‘Fallen Embers’.

‘Eyes Wide Shut’, his collaboration with Blink-182's Travis Barker and Avril Lavigne has also entered the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart at No.9. In his recent digital cover story, Illenium told us about working on the track, saying “(Avril) absolutely killed this song. I didn’t wanna mess with it. I would think ‘do I need some of my old sound in this?’ And I would try and it would kind of work but this is meant to be a pop punk song. I loved just getting in there and jamming with Travis.”

The album also features collaborations with Spiritbox, Motionless In White and JXDN.
