Lamb Of God have revealed that they will be releasing their 10th studio album later this year.
Titled ‘Into Oblivion’, it will be dropping on March 13 via Century Media/Epic Records. It will serve as the band’s first body of work in four years, following up 2022’s ‘Omens’.
Vocalist Randy Blythe had this to say about the album’s title, stating, “That’s where we’re heading. In general, the album is about the ongoing and rapid breakdown of the social contract, particularly here in America. Things are acceptable now that would’ve horrified people just 20 years ago.”
Guitarist Mark Morton had this to say concerning the direction the record has taken, saying, “For me, the album is about having the space to breathe creatively and not feeling like we have to keep up with any trend or expectation. It feels nice to be untethered from any agenda beyond rallying around the notion of, ‘Let’s just make music that we think is cool,’ which is really where it all started.”

The band have also shared the title track, a dizzying blend of razor-sharp riffs and guttural howls, the sort that the band are the best of the best at dealing out.
They are also hitting the road, both across America for a headline tour but also around festivals in Europe, including a headline slot at Bloodstock.
