Lavalove have revealed the details of their sophomore full-length, and celebrated with the release of a deadly new single.
The record is going to be called ‘TAN LINES’ and will be released on April 03 via Pure Noise Records. It serves as the follow-up to 2023’s ‘Love Sick’.

The band have shared the first taste of the album, and it is absolutely wicked. It’s ‘Sniffin’ Around’, and hides a deadly secret behind its sunshine-soaked sound. On the surface, it’s a song that feels like a day at the beach, but listen closer, and you will hear that it’s actually all about making that special someone who has done you wrong pay for their deception and infidelity.
Let vocalist/guitarist Tealarose Coy explain:
“We wanted to write a song that just felt nostalgic and easy to dance to, even with darker themes. The music and background vocals are very much “California Cheerleading” but the lyrics are about murdering your cheating boyfriend. It dives into the idea of letting your paranoia take control. We loved the idea of leaving it open-ended, how the story actually goes, but naturally agreeing with the narrator. We support women’s rights and wrongs!”
