Linkin Park have dropped new single ‘Over Each Other’ alongside a moving music video directed by Joe Hahn.
The third single from their eighth album, it follows the release of comeback track ‘The Emptiness Machine’ and the explosive 'Heavy Is The Crown’.
With ‘From Zero’ set to arrive on November 15, ‘Over Each Other’ is accompanied by a video directed by the band’s own Joe Hahn, who also handled the iconic music videos for ‘Numb’, ‘From The Inside’, ‘What I’ve Done’, ‘Somewhere I Belong’ and ‘The Emptiness Machine’.
Filmed in Korea and reminiscent of popular Korean drama shows, the theatrical video stars freshly recruited vocalist Emily Armstrong.

On the track, Emily has shared:
“This song is an extra special one for me, because it’s my first solo vocal in Linkin Park… I can’t believe I’m saying that!
“But it’s also such an emotional and relatable song. And then to shoot the video in Korea with Joe, who is so brilliant at what he does, is something I will cherish forever.”
And Joe has added:
“It’s been a dream of mine to direct a project in Korea one day – and it finally happened! Emily and I stayed a few extra days after our Seoul show and are so grateful to the cast and crew who helped us out. We really embraced the K-ness of it all, wanting it to feel like a true K-drama. We hope you all love it as much as we do!”
With Linkin Park ready to unveil their new era with ‘From Zero’, in his Rock Sound 25 Icon interview Mike Shinoda reflected on the band’s continuing legacy:
“To be in 2023 seeing brand new, teenage artists and bands show up referencing and loving Linkin Park music is such a blessing. We would have never guessed that we could be in this position. It’s crazy to think that some of them will be in this position later, they’ll grow up to be a band that somebody else references. That chain of influence and inspiration goes on. That’s a beautiful lineage. Separate from that, on the more practical or logical side of things, there’s the end of the year when everybody gets a lot of their data back, besides your Spotify Wrapped and stuff like that, more deep dive wrap ups that you get from management or your label or your publisher and so on. For a band that is technically inactive, Linkin Park has been on an upswing in the last two years. That is unbelievable. We got on one report for one DSP platform that we had gained multiple tens of millions of new listeners. Wow. That’s mind blowing. These are people that have never listened to Linkin Park and found us this year. All I can do is be grateful. There’s almost nothing else I can say about that. It’s just shocking. What do I say? Thank you.”
