With her debut album ‘Falling For Robots And Wishing I Was One’ out today, LØLØ has shared the futuristic single ‘Wish I Was A Robot’.

Out now via Hopeless Records, ‘Falling For Robots And Wishing I Was One’ also features previously released singles ‘2 Of Us’, 'Poser’, 'Snow In Berlin’, 'U & The Tin Man’, and 'Kill The Girl’.
Discussing ‘Wish I Was A Robot’ and how it relates to closing track ‘U & The Tin Man, LØLØ has explained:
“I was going through it one day.
“I came up with the line, ‘Sometimes living feels disgusting’. I noticed I said ‘Robot’ in ‘tin man’, and everything clicked. Those songs really tie this body of work together.”

The Canadian singer-songwriter (real name, Lauren Mandel), spoke all about the making of her debut record for our ‘The Album Story’ feature.
Speaking on choosing the album’s title, she said:
“… it hit me that a lot of my songs are either falling for robots, or wishing I was one ie, falling for people that I feel like have no emotions, and I’m overly sensitive, and it hurts me in that way. Me being too emotional or falling for people that aren’t emotional at all.”
