Mayday Parade have unveiled the full details of their forthcoming new album ‘Sad’, celebrating 20 years of the band.

Set for release on October 03, it follows the arrival of their ‘Sweet’ EP earlier this year.
Speaking on the first single from the album ‘Under My Sweater’, frontman Derek Sanders has said:
“It’s difficult to sing about a sweater without invoking Weezer, but that’s part of what I love about this song. ‘Under My Sweater’ wears its inspirations on its sleeve and feels both a part of old school nostalgic emo as well as something modern and a step forward for Mayday Parade.”

Produced by the band’s longtime collaborators Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount, whilst ‘Sweet’ leant into energetic anthems, ‘Sad’ will slow the tempo and deepen the mood.
