Melrose Avenue are back with a new track, and it’s a dark and decadent dive into different waters for the band.
It’s called ‘Taste’, and it finds them delivering some of their most seductive and risque lines over a bludgeoning instrumental. It’s fitting that the song is arriving just before Valentine’s Day, as it’s ready-made for the sort of encounters that such a day is built on. So lower the lights, light the candles and stick in on for that special someone. They’re going to love it.
Vocalist Vlado Saric had this to say about the song, stating,“’Taste’ marks the next phase of Melrose Avenue stepping out of the light and letting our darker inhibitions take over – it’s about freedom, the right to be sexual, to be desired, and to desire. We felt our fanbase was ready for this side of us, and we wanted to give them exactly that”
The song follows on from a string of singles in 2025. Here was the latest, ‘INSIDE YOUR MIND’.
The band are set to hit up the UK and Europe for a headline tour, centred around some festival appearances. Here are those dates.
