Metallica’s ‘Lux Æterna’ Is No.01 On Active Rock Radio In US

Metallica’s first track in six years has made its way right to the top on Active Rock Radio already.

Metallica made their return last month with ‘Lux Æterna’, the first track from their upcoming new album ’72 Seasons’.

And it has already made an absolutely massive impact in the US.

According to Mediabase’s Building Charts, the song is now No.01 on US Active Rock radio.

It replaced Ozzy Osbourne’s ‘One Of Those Days’ which was No.01 last week, and that’s because it has received 1986 plays in the last week, a 12.6% increase on the week before.

The song has already been streamed over ten million times on Spotify and the video has been viewed 11 million times.

Pretty massive launch, right?
