Miss May I are getting atmospherically brash with their new track, taken from their upcoming album ‘No Place For Me’.

Titled ‘Hand Me A Halo’, it finds them dealing out plenty of meticulous melody without skimping on any of the destruction that has defined their journey up until now. It’s a mature, excellently constructed and thoughtful piece that gets more and more intense with every second that passes.
There are always surprises hiding up these sleeves.
Vocalist Levi Benton had this to say about the song:
“‘Hand Me A Halo’ tells the self-narrative of losing one’s sense of self and dealing with the intrusive thoughts that come with it. This song came from our own confusion and loss of identity through the changing seasons of life. The fear can be constant, leaving you to question if you just want someone to hand you a halo.”
‘No Place For Me’ is set for release on October 02 via Solid State Records.
Benton had this to add about what he feels as though the record represents:
“We stopped and asked ourselves, ‘What are we actually trying to say as artists. The goal is for the music to be therapeutic. It’s okay to have a breakdown. You aren’t alone. You don’t have to hold it all in. I hope our latest album can meet you where you are.”
