Moodring Announce New Album ‘Death Fetish’

Moodring have revealed the details of their new record, the follow-up to 2022’s debut full-length ‘Stargazer’.

Titled ‘Death Fetish’, it will be released on March 27 via SharpTone Records.

Mastermind Hunter Young had this to say about his intent with the album, stating, “I just wanted to make a dark, honest record,” he says. “And if people don’t like it, I don’t really care. I had to do it for myself.”

The artwork looks like this:

And the tracklisting like this:

01. Half Life
02. Cannibal
03. Masochist Machine
04. Gunplay (Suicidal 3way)
05. Ketamine
06. Anywhere By Here
07. STFA
08. Oxidiezed
09. Bleed Enough
10. Sickf_ck
11. Die Slow
12. ColdMetalKiss

The band have also shared a fresh taste of the record, following on from vicious ‘Half-Life’ and sensual ‘Cannibal’. That is in the form of ‘Masochist Machine’, a gruelling piece of industrial metalcore fury. Pulsating, powerful and laser-focused, it’s an absolute bruiser, and a showcase of yet another style of heaviness that Hunter absolutely dominates.

He had this to say about the track, stating, “‘Masochist Machine’ is about being used by your own addictions and obsessive compulsions. A losing struggle against illicit drugs, sex, and a longing for any kind of release from this life. This coincides with a retrofuturisic musical backdrop, seeking another form of escapism.”
