After revealing the songs that will be played on the ride, we now know the songs that are going to be heard when you make your way through every part of the newly unveiled Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney Hollywood Studios.
A list of 39 songs is set to loop as you make your way through the courtyard of the ride, as compiled by Blog Mickey, showcasing the full spectrum of guitar music. Which means there are plenty of nods to the scene. My Chemical Romance will be represented with ‘Famous Last Words’, whilst The Warning will be heard thanks to the inclusion of ‘MORE’. ‘Ocean Avenue’ by Yellowcard, ‘Pressure’ by Paramore, ‘Everlong’ by Foo Fighters, ‘Sk8r Boi’ by Avril Lavigne, ‘Starlight’ by Muse, ‘The Best Thing’ by Relient K and ‘I Melt With You’ by Bowling For Soup will also have their moment.
There will also be four songs from the Muppets’ house band, Dr Teeth and The Electric Mayhem.
In terms of. the actual ride, the songs set to play and the celebrities set to make appearances have already been confirmed.
Opening on May 26, Travis Barker will make a cameo as you wait to board the new coaster design, from the queue through to the merch shop, alongside other stars such as “Weird Al” Yankovic, Danny Trejo, Awkwafina and more.
The roller coaster’s soundtrack has also been revealed, featuring songs from The Electric Mayhem alongside some special guests. One of those is Def Leppard, delivering a new version of their 1983 hit ‘Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)’.
