My Chemical Romance's iconic sophomore album ‘Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge’ has returned to the UK chart.

Official Charts Company reports that the new deluxe edition, featuring a new mix and live rarities, has pushed the album up to No.5 on the midweek chart. Upon its original release, ‘Three Cheers…’ hit No.34 in the UK and has since been certified Platinum. If it holds that current position, it will be become MCR’s second highest charting UK album ever, behind ‘The Black Parade’ which landed at No.2 in 2006.
All songs on the deluxe edition have been newly mixed by Rich Costey. Plus, it comes with four bonus live tracks – ‘I’m Not Okay (I Promise)’, ‘Helena’, ‘The Ghost Of You’ and ‘You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison’ – originally recorded in 2005 for BBC Radio 1’s The Lock Up Show.
MCR are set to tour across the US this summer with a series of sold out stadium shows and festival appearances lined up.
