My First Time have returned with explosive single ‘Sippy Cup’.
The latest in a string of singles released throughout 2025 – including ‘Brand New’, 'Much Better’, and 'Bodybag’ – ‘Sippy Cup’ sees the band take aim at the world’s over-promisers and under-deliverers.
On the track’s video, which is centred around a character called ‘King of the Sofa’, frontman Isaac Stroud-Allen has said:
“Following around a modern day Caesar of beer drinking and disposable vape smoking, we offer the King of the Sofa a sip from the golden chalice, promising endless parties, inflated confidence, and fleeting euphoria… There are no winners or losers when you’re too drunk to care. Inspecting the grim reality of escapism through vices, the protagonist remains trapped between the fingers of a broken system. Still, alcohol offers the illusion of freedom, confidence, and limitless possibility… all you have to do is drink from the golden chalice.”
