Only The Poets have the potential to make a big week even bigger based on the Official Charts Company's midweek UK chart update.
The band released their debut album, ‘And I’d Do It Again,’ on January 30. A vibrant, fun-filled, brilliantly British take on modern rock, full of character and insatiably catchy choruses. And clearly, the atmosphere is clicking with listeners, as it has hit the Top Ten after its opening weekend.
The record is currently at No.10, with Don Toliver’s ‘OCTANE’ just ahead of it. Also, with The Molotovs’ debut ‘Wasted On Youth’ currently sitting at No.02, there is potential for a very special week for rock music to unfold.
The news comes on the day of the band’s huge show at London’s Brixton Academy. A gig that the band put on sale with tickets priced at £1 and with support coming from two bands, whittled down from 1000 and chosen via a ‘Band Of The Bands’ style event, it’s a landmark occasion in not just the band’s career but also in the way that we consume and support music in 2026.
The band will also be hitting the road later this year across Europe for an album release tour. Here are the dates.
