Save Us have dropped another track from their upcoming album ‘Death To Something’, and it’s possibly their most emotionally raw yet.
It’s called ‘Last Of Me’, and it’s the kind of song that holds you tightly in its grasp and refuses to let go until its final note. Overspilling with pure emotion, it gradually builds towards a cathartic release, keeping you firmly at the edge of your seat.
Vocalist Miguel Owls had this to say about it:
“‘Last of Me’ was an emotional challenge for me. I had so much I wanted to say, but I really pushed to keep it clear and honest without feeling wordy or cheesy. It’s about finally breaking free from a toxic relationship and recognizing the grip it had on you for so long. There’s a lot of weight behind that realization, but also a sense of release. I truly hope this song helps people find the strength to let go, move forward, and start healing.”
The band’s new album ‘Death To Something’ is set to be released on October 16 via Solid State Records.
It will feature previously released singles ‘Bruised’, ‘Death To Something’, 'Seraphim’ and ‘Far’.
