Scene Queen has revealed the details of a new EP, and released a song that demonstrates just how bludgeoning she is willing to go.

The release is called ‘METALICIOUS’ and will be unleashed on September 11 via Hopeless Records. It serves as her first body of work since debut album ‘Hot Singles In Your Area’.
Hannah had this to say about the release:
“METALICIOUS the EP is as chaotic recession pop, y2k – coded, metal madness. I wanted an EP that was as fun to make as when I was writing the Bimbocore volumes and making music was fresh and new to me. In the spirit of Bimbocore, I experimented with the pop influences, but this time the heavy parts are the heaviest they’ve ever been. From deathcore features, to me laying down some of my lowest screams yet, this EP was as fun to make for me as it sounds through out. Yes there’s some trauma dumping in there, but it’s a Scene Queen EP so what do you expect?”
The artwork looks like this:

And the tracklisting like this:
1. Pink Flip Phone
2. Manicure
3. Shopaholic
4. Drop Dead Gorgeous
5. Tracksuit
6. T!ts Out At Brunch
7. METALICIOUS (feat. Left to Suffer)
As you can see, it includes the already released ‘Manicure’ and ‘Tracksuit’, but you can also hear closing track ‘METALICIOUS’ right now.
A tribute to both sides of the scene of yesteryear, channelling as much Millionaires as Winds Of Plague, it is a nostalgic, cheeky, chaotic piece of crossover catchiness. Featuring a guest appearance from Left To Suffer’s Tayler Barber, who puts in one hell of a guttural performance, it’s as Scene Queen as it gets.
Hannah had this to add:
“’METALICIOUS’ featuring Left To Suffer is what happens if a tumblr indie sleaze club song was written in metal font. The song takes you through girls night at a metal show. The band is heavy, the drinks are flowing, and the girls are whipping their purses in the moshpit.”
Scene Queen is featured on Pop Sound, Vol. 1, providing a cover of Kesha’s ‘Your Love Is My Drug’.
