Skindred have shared another track from their upcoming record ‘You Got This’, and it is going to get you moving.
‘This Is The Sound’ is its name, and it is quintessential Skindred in sound and scope. A celebration of their boundary-smashing style and attitude, filtered through a thick groove and insatiable vocal display from Benji Webbe. It’s fresh and fun and fantastically catchy, readymade to get the pit bouncing like it’s the last thing they will do.
Benji has summed it up best, stating, “Skindred’s sound has always been about fearlessly sailing on uncharted waters and using multiple influences to get the melting pot of ideas really smoking. ‘This Is The Sound’ pulls together evil dance hall vibes with a booming metal grind that hopefully makes you want to bang your head and scream along with the chorus. THIS IS THE SOUND THAT MAKES YOU GO CRAZY!”
‘You Got This’ will be released on April 17 via Earache Records.
