UPDATE 2: The band have posted an image of a new masked member who performed with the band on keyboards at Austria’s Nova Rock Festival last night (June 07).
ORIGINAL POST: Slipknot announced today (June 07) that sampler and keyboardist Craig ‘133’ Jones, aka #5, has parted ways with the band.
In a short statement posted on social media, the band said “To our fans, Slipknot is announcing that we have parted ways with Craig Jones. We wish Jones all the best for the future.”
Jones joined the group in 1996 and has appeared on each of their studio albums beginning with their 1999 self-titled debut, through to 2022’s ‘The End, So Far’.
Slipknot will headline Download Festival this weekend (June 11).
