Stand Atlantic are getting closer and closer to the release of their new album ‘GODBREATH’, and have shared a new taster to tide you over.
The track is called ‘NEXT2U’ and continues down the loved-up, gooey-eyed path that many of the songs already revealed off the record have taken. It’s bright, breezy and would slot neatly into a turn of the millenium coming of age movie. Showcasing everything that STAT do best whilst also pushing into new territory with ease, it’s going to be trapped in your head for the foreseeable.
Vocalist Bonne Fraser had this to say about the track, stating, “This is definitely a love song but there’s also lots of references to being away from home and far from people that make you feel good. We’re so lucky to tour the world with our best friends but this is an ode to the people back home that you still miss. Sometimes it’s hard to stay present because you want to be somewhere else. ‘NEXT2U’ is a love song you can send to your homies.”
‘GODBREATH’ will be released on October 23 via Hopeless Records.
