Sunborn Release Shimmering New Track ‘Infinity Pool’

Sunborn are putting in a claim to become your new favourite band with the release of a stunning new track.

Titled ‘Infinity Pool’, it showcases the band’s knack of penning the sort of melody that clings to you whilst still managing to caustic and chaotic at the same time. Lashings of metalcore intensity clash with atmospheric post-hardcore etherealness to create a dreamy, beautifully dense and addictive combination of sights and sounds. Mysterious yet meticulous, they are the sort of band ready and waiting for you to fall into complete obsession with.

Vocalist Lino Chesnel had this to say about what the track represents for them:

“The song is a haunting take on emotional isolation, disconnection, and the quiet paralysis of watching life move forward without you. This track captures the surreal feeling of existing inside your own enclosed world: Suspended between reflection and reality, unable to fully connect with the lives unfolding around you. ‘Infinity Pool’ explores what it means to remain emotionally stranded. There’s a constant tension between longing and surrender, a desire to break free colliding with the fear that nothing will ever truly shift.

“At its core, it is about my own experience of dissociation in a hyperconnected world, but also searching for meaning inside the echo chamber of your own thoughts. I think that’s something a lot of people experience but struggle to put into words.”

The band are set to make their way around the UK later this year as support for ATLAS. Here are the dates you can catch them:
