The 1975 have announced that they are reissuing their second album ‘I like it when you sleep for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it’ to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

The record served as a bridged between the band being a big deal, thanks to their 2013 debut ‘The 1975’, and them being a very big deal indeed. Drenched in neon-pink and approaching hedonism, heartbreak and the hell that is feeling so strongly, the likes of ‘Love Me’, ‘The Sound’ and ‘Somebody Else’ continue to be staples in the band’s sets to this day. It’s bodacious, beautifully constructed and still fresh as it comes almost a decade on.
The reissue will be released on February 27, ten years and a day after it originally dropped, with pre-orders available now right here.
The special edition vinyl comes in a beautiful pink colourway, with six-panel triple gatefold packaging and brand-new artwork. It will also include 17 12×12 art cards, one for every song.
It’s a very beautiful and considered product. Here is a closer look at it all.
