The Acacia Strain are back and delivering another track that goes harder than everybody else.
The Acacia Strain have shared their first new music since 2020’s full-length ‘Slow Decay’.
And they continue to go harder than absolutely everybody else.
It’s called ‘UNTENDED GRAVES’ and is two-minutes of down-tuned and desolating hardcore, full of skull-scraping intensity and bone-snapping grit.
Though at its core is a sentiment that hasn’t often been heard in the band’s music over the years, the rallying cry of, “I don’t want to die”. It’s a huge statement in the middle of such chaos, and one that lingers with you long after the pummelling has ended.
The band had this to say about it:
“‘UNTENDED GRAVES’ is a good example of our current collective writing, with some added perspective that was injected into the band recently as well. It will be a fun one to play live next spring. However, as usual with us, it’s no indication of what’s to come.”
Let’s go then:
And to keep on tiding you over, here’s ‘One Thousand Painful Stings’ from ‘Slow Decay’:
