The Dirty Nil Drop Cathartic Single ‘Fail In Time’

The Dirty Nil have shared the latest taste of upcoming album ‘The Lash’ in the form of cathartic, hardcore-laced single ‘Fail In Time’.

With ‘The Lash’ set for release on July 25 via Dine Alone Records, it follows recent singles ‘Gallop Of The Hounds’, 'Rock N’ Roll Band’ and ‘Spider Dream’.

Raw, loud, and refreshingly bleak, on ‘Fail In Time’ frontman Luke Bentham has shared:

“When true joy enters your life, you know it’s got a return ticket to wherever it came from. I wrote the chorus of the song first and wanted to make the verses as triumphant as possible – we even got an I Think You Should Leave reference into the second. Then we hit the pre-chorus where happiness begins to fade. The chorus is about knowing it’s over… that little spark is gone. [Engineer] Vince [Solivari] insisted we put a hardcore breakdown in at the end and I’m glad we listened to him.”

‘The Lash’ will arrive ahead of the band’s return to the UK this October as part of the Common Thread tour, playing alongside Hot Water Music, Spanish Love Songs, Comeback Kid and Joyce Manor.
