The Tullamarines have continued their pursuit of capturing every heart they come into contact with with the release of a wonderful new song.
The band has shared ‘Flight Path’, a pop-rock/indie crossover of the highest calibre. Channelling as much classic pomp with modern intent and earnest expression, it is addictive in all the right ways. A vibrant and vivacious burst of energy and exuberance that perfectly embodies everything that the band have achieved so far and are looking to add to the trophy cabinet in the future.
Vocalist Ben Waltho had this to say about it:
“Flight Path is first and foremost about writer’s block, but it’s framed in a few different ways. It’s actually the product of two very different demos that were merged in an effort to relieve a particularly long stretch of non-writing. This song is about so many things; losing confidence as you grow up, wanting to go home and hide from the world, struggling to be honest. It’s a very troubling mosaic of thoughts and feelings that bubble away in the background of life, coming to the surface all at once.”
