Tigers Jaw Release Thoughtful New Track ‘Primary Colours’

Tigers Jaw are gearing up for the release of their new album ‘Lost On You’ with the release of a wistful track full of wondering.

‘Primary Colours’ showcases the band’s more straight-up rock-oriented sound, guitar solos and duetted refrains aplenty. Thematically, it is a song that looks back, focusing on the different stages of experiences we have had and how our view of them shifts over time. Like memories being unlocked from behind their own special doors, we pick and choose the things we wonder about, and the conclusions we reach aren’t always the ones we want.

Vocalist/guitarist Ben Walsh had this to say about the song, explaining,“‘Primary Colors’ is about being so wrapped up in the aftermath of something that it overwhelms your senses entirely. When you’re stuck somewhere between reflecting on the ‘what ifs,’ and finding the resolve to move forward. We recreated that mental space in the music video as a performance space that had doorways to memories, journeying through a relationship from the very first sparks to the slow unraveling.”

‘Lost On You’ is set for release on March 27 via Hopeless Records. It serves as the follow-up to 2021’s ‘I Won’t Care How You Remember Me’.
