To The Grave have shared the details of a new record, and it’s set to be one of the most vital deathcore releases of 2023.
To The Grave have announced that they are going to be kicking off 2023 with the release of a new album.
That album is called ‘Director’s Cuts’, and will drop on February 24 via Unique Leader Records.
The band had this to say about it:
“This is the refinement of our combined musical tastes, fuelled by our sadness and anger at the state of the world. We made the music we wanted to make without really considering how it would fit into any little genre boxes, because we knew if we loved it completely then everyone else would too. These songs are hard and heavy without being technical just for the sake of it.”
The artwork looks like this:
And the tracklisting like this:
01. Warning Shot
02. Red Dot Sight
03. Full Sequence
05. Protest & Sever (feat. Sam Crocker – Antagonist AD)
07. Found Footage
08. Axe of Kindness
09. Reversing The Bear Trap (feat. Jess Christiansen – Bled Out)
10. Cut Off The Head
11. Die, Rise
You can hear the first taste in the form of ‘Red Dot Sight’, a crushing, callous and crucial takedown of anti-vegan activists and the media’s portrayal of vegan protestors as the bad guys.
The band elaborated:
“‘Red Dot Sight’ is about anti-vegan public figures and influencers dragging the names of activists for headlines and views. The way our media paints them as criminals and terrorists sways public perception against those wanting to do good to the point that it’s socially acceptable to treat them like sh*t.”
Here it is. It is a banger:
