unpeople have unveiled another offering from their upcoming debut album ‘we are unpeople’, and it’s another absolutely sensational piece of forward-facing rock and roll.
Titled ‘blueprints’, it finds the quartet slowing things down to a glacial pace without losing any of the grandioseness that they display so beautifully. Pulling as much from brit-pop’s most shimmering moments as it is from the heart of british heavy music, it’s an anthem of the highest calibre.
Singer & guitarist Jake Crawford had this to say about the tune:
“The subject matter of this song is not an easy one to get into, personally. It’s broadly about propping up people who have behaviours that are clearly not good for them or the people around them. People who only want what is best for them. Take from that what you will. Luke wrote the lion’s share of the song and presented it to us with the chorus lyrics and melody already in place. I loved it so much we kept it almost exactly as it was and I just elaborated on the overall feeling of the tune with the verses.”
‘we are unpeople’ will be released on October 09 via SharpTone Records.
