WATCH: Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley Join Good Charlotte Onstage At Aftershock Festival

Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley joined Good Charlotte live onstage at Aftershock Festival last night (October 02).

The surprise took place in the middle of Good Charlotte’s set at the festival, with Deryck joining them for a performance of two Sum 41 classics – ‘Fat Lip’ and ‘In Too Deep’.

Sum 41 gave their final ever live performance earlier this year as part of Juno Awards, which took place in Vancouver.

That evening, the band were also inducted into the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame, with the award presented by none other than Good Charlotte’s Joel and Benji Madden.

Good Charlotte’s latest album ‘Motel Du Cap’ arrived earlier this year, and the band have been announced as headliners for Slam Dunk 2026.

The 20th anniversary edition of the event will take place at Hatfield Park on May 23 and Temple Newsam in Leeds on May 24.
