Twenty One Pilots are bringing a very special motion picture to the big screen next month, and now they have offered up a little taster.
‘Twenty One Pilots: More Than We Ever Imagined’ was filmed at the band’s gigantic show in Mexico City last year during the Clancy World Tour, but it is going to be so much more than that. Directed by Mark C. Eshleman, it captures every moment and angle of the performance, from the band’s arrival in Mexico City and behind-the-scenes preparation to perspectives from fans experiencing the show.
And this new footage shows all of that in action. From Tyler Joseph chatting about whereabouts in the massive venue he wants to be able to stand and look down on the crowd to Josh Dun sitting in the back of a car chatting about the live show on the way to the live show, it is clear how in-depth a look into the making of this spectacle it is going to be.
And then that’s before you see any of the actual concert footage, planted slap bang in the middle of the crowd. The only way you could be closer is actually being there.
Have a watch for yourself, and get very excited.
The film will be arriving in cinemas and IMAX, if you fancy getting really engrossed, from February 26, and IMAX from February 25, for a limited time. Tickets will be available to secure from January 15 from right here.
Twenty One Pilots are set to make their return to the UK for an exclusive show at All Points East on August 30. On top of their headline performance, they will also be joined by the likes of Wunderhorse, REN, BBNO$, PVRIS, Nova Twins, Dead Pony, Kid Kapachi, and LEAP. Tickets are available right now from right here.
