Streamed on Disney Plus, the ceremony included an explosive performance from Tyler and Josh to celebrate the legendary Michigan rock duo.

Announcing the news of their performance last month, Tyler shared:

“Meg and Jack, thanks for having us be a part of your induction to the rock and roll hall of fame.. no group more deserving than the freaking white stripes.. Josh and i are working on ‘seven nation army’ now, and hope to give it every bit of justice it deserves…”

Jack White is a longtime fan of TOP, having praising them in a previous interview:

“I love what they’re doing. First time I saw them was on ‘Saturday Night Live’. And I thought ‘Oh, that’s really great. Another really cool two-piece band that can do something really powerful.’ I liked what they were doing, playing piano and bass, that guy, the lead singer. And it was strong.”

Avril Lavigne also made an appearance at the ceremony, performing ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ with Cyndi Lauper as part of her induction.

Twenty One Pilots will return to Europe in summer 2026 for some massive festival appearances, including France’s Main Square Festival, Germany’s Southside & Hurricane Festivals, and the recently announced Mad Cool Festival in Madrid.
