YUNGBLUD isn’t the sort of artist who lets something like a broken leg stop him from performing, as he demonstrated in emphatic style in Portugal.
Dom revealed the extent of his injury earlier in the weekend, sustained in a motorcycle accident. Posting on his Instagram, he stated, “Leg fucked. Still giggin. Still standin (sort of). Portugal and Belgium I’m comin and it’s gonna be fucking mad. See you next week. Let’s ride.”
And he is a man who never breaks a promise, as footage from his show at Portugal’s CA Vilar de Mouros shows him not just doing the business in a wheelchair, but also crowdsurfing.
It shows how committed YUNGBLUD has always been to the cause, and by continuing to put his fans first, he has created a moment unlike any other.
Speaking on his community channel after the show, Dom exclaimed, “F*cking hell, guys. I can’t believe we got through last night. That was f*cking epic. Thank you for the energy Portugal… my team were amazing and the girls that flew out to help me. They’re f*cking legends, man. Honestly, they really got me through it… Thank you again. Bit of pain, but f*ck it, man. I’ll see you Friday. It’s gonna be lit.”
He added, “If you’re going to be there on Friday, give me the f*cking energy. Honestly, I need it to be wild… I’ve done some ligaments in my knee, which is f*cking mad. After this show I’m going to get myself operated on, get back to normal, get ready for touring next year.”
