Waterparks have unveiled the music video for latest single ‘Red Guitar’, directed by Awsten Knight.

It comes ahead of the trio’s main stage performance at Reading & Leeds Festival.
In true Waterparks style, there’s a whole lot to unpack here, from a colourfully dressed choir, guitar solos bathed in fire, Awsten talking to his younger self, and a nightmarishly creepy mask.
Check out the video below:
Speaking on ‘Red Guitar’, Awsten has said:
“This is the first song back from the best band in the world, Waterparks… After a year of trials and tribulations, we have arisen from the smoke, like Captain America — maybe Iron Man instead. I haven’t seen most of those movies. However Infinity War ended, probably. RIP Ant Man. This is the best song from a band in the last 10 years, ask anyone. Either this song or the next one will be our biggest one, again, ask anyone. RIP Iron Man. Stream the song until we make physicals and then go buy one of those. It’s a plaque attack, baby. I love you. God help us all. Thanks!”
The trio’s most recent album ‘Intellectual Property’ was released in 2023, reaching No.10 in the UK chart. Frontman Awsten Knight was also featured on Michael Clifford's recent solo single ‘Give Me A Break!’.
Waterparks are set to return to the UK later this month when they will play the main stage at Reading & Leeds Festivals. The lineup also features Bring Me The Horizon, Enter Shikari, Limp Bizkit, Wallows, Bilmuri and Balu Brigada.
