Topping the UK charts upon its release last month, it’s the band’s fourth studio album.

Incredibly, it’s also their fourth time being shortlisted for the prize, making them the first act in history to be nominated for all of their first four albums.

On the announcement, the band have shared:

“It’s an honour to be shortlisted for a Mercury for the fourth time! As an institution it’s always championed leftfield and alternative music and put it in the spotlight for a mainstream audience which is just amazing. It’s been an important part of the Wolf Alice story and something that’s always so fun to be a part of.”

Other nominees for the 2025 Merucry Price include Fontaines DC, Pulp, Sam Fender and Pink Pantheress.

The award will be presented at a ceremony on October 16.

Wolf Alice will play arenas across the UK & Ireland as part of their headline tour this winter.
