XCOMM are gearing up for the release of their debut album ‘Time To Burn’, and based on how hard this taste of it goes, it’s going to be a face-melter.

The track is called ‘FAKE ID’ and is all about being told that you’re too young to do something that should be for everyone. In this case, it’s not being able to go and see bands. You can feel the anger pulsating through it, a thrashing, blink-and-miss-it slice of throwback hardcore with a modern edge. It’s a reminder of just how eternal this music is, how its power can affect you at any age, and that when life throws you a curveball, you should just spit back in its face.
And considering that drummer Revel Ian is the son of Anthrax legend Scott Ian, you already know just how much this means to them.
Frontman Michael Gatto had this to say about the track, explaining excitedly, “’Fake ID’ rips! It’s about getting rejected from shows for being under 21 when all you want to do is check out a band. The video shoot was amazing — it was so funny to walk around town dressed as grandmas for a day. I thought we looked great and I love how the video concludes with us walking into the ocean…”
And he’s right, the video is amazing. Feels like it was pulled straight from Jackass.
‘Time To Burn’ is due out later in 2026 via Blowed Out Records, the label founded by legendary producer Ross Robinson, GHOSTMANE and industry veteran Bill Armstrong. Ross Robinson also produced the album, too, so you know it’s going to be a big one.
If you like what you hear and can’t wait till more info is unleashed, here is their previous single ‘Reasons’.
