Comastatic have shared a new song called ‘Deja Vu’, and teamed up with the incredible Mikaila Delgado along the way.

The song itself is an infectious piece of modern pop-rock perfection. A fizzling combination of trap beats and pop sensibilities that builds and builds to a cataclysmic conclusion, it’s the electricity pulsating between the two parties that stands out most. Every line is delivered with earnest and honesty, like a conversation that changes everything, unfolding before your eyes. In taking account of your own actions and knowing that things cannot go on like this, sometimes you need someone else there to really hammer it home.
The result is deeply affecting in all the right ways.
Vocalist Mattia Di Paolo had this to say about the song’s themes, explaining, “Deja vu’ is about running from yourself. It captures the rush of living fast, the denial that comes with addiction and the moment you realize the damage is already done. It’s about losing control, repeating the same mistakes and finally facing the consequences.”
Whilst Mikaila had this to add about the collaboration, stating,“I think Comastatic is such an exciting band so I really wanted to put my hand up to be apart of their journey! When I heard Deja Vu I instantly wanted to be on the song and I feel so grateful the guys had me along!”
The duo are set to hit the road across Europe with Ryan Oakes later this year, before finding themselves in Brighton for The Great Escape.
