Black Veil Brides and VV (Ville Valo) have announced a co-headline tour across North America.
Commencing in September in Louisville, Kentucky, the tour will be supported by special guests Dark Divine.
Tickets are on sale from today, Tuesday, May 30, via pre-sales with additional pre-sales running throughout the week, with more information found via Black Veil Brides’ site.
General sale begins this Friday, June 02, at 10a.m. via promoter Live Nation’s site.
The Black Veil Brides tour announcement arrives on the same day as news of their support slot for Halestorm at Wembley OVO Arena on December 09.
Speaking of the North American tour and joining the road with VV, Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack has spoken of the HIM legend in adulating terms, saying:
“We cannot wait to join forces with Ville Valo and give both of our audiences in North America an unforgettable experience each night. This run has been in the works for quite a while. We couldn’t be happier now that we can finally share the news.”
“Ville is an icon. We have all been fans of his, not only for his work in the hugely influential band HIM but as a torchbearer for an entire generation of rock fans and musicians.”
Valo, meanwhile, has spoken in typically goth-rock fashion about the run of dates, saying:
“There’s something tinnitus-inducingly romantic about the idea of being sandwiched nightly between Black Veil Brides and Dark Divine on this autumnal trek across North America.”
“And imagining us explore the architecture of doom and gloom from the three distinctly different musical perspective has already made the bats in my belfry suitably ravenous.”
